I am a bit of a facebuk newb, so I am not sure how to post/join that?  I didn't see a link or place to type in?

Do we have a date set for this?  IE, will we need snow tires  :D  Hehehe.  Done a few Cyprus and Grouse runs where it was snowy and fun, but NO fun on high perf summer tires.

I use to go up cypress a lot when I lived on the shore. It would be fun to go up again

No snow tires.. half of my friends that have joined have rwd cars that will not fair as good as our dsm's in the snow haha.
We are looking for the date to be sometime in between the 23rd of september and the 11th of october.

Except for the "Freddy" thing.

no way I am gonna go to another one with him.  I learned my lesson on that when pictures of OUR club members cars got put on a CBC article about street racing, with him being the main feature interview.  He is not even in our club but we got painted by that brush.

Too bad none of you guys could make, we had a fuckin' wicked time!

About 15-20 cars total...some Volvo's, a Beamer, 3 Supras, two Skylines, me and another dsm, a TT 350Z, MR2...Fairlady Z, and a few others...I have pics but didn't have time to post yet. Will do it later tonight.

Was really a lot of fun though, we met up at Tim Hortons in Bryne Rd (spelling?), followed by a cruise through Vancouver, then got on the freeway and booked it to Squamish. The road construction's complete so we had a lot of fun in those curves. Not to mention that the supras, skylines and 350 merged in with us on our way there. Afterwards...we stopped once there and took some pics. Went to a nearby lake/river (I took off at this point)...then met up with them later again at night to do Robson and onto Stanley Park.

Thanks for arranging this Brody...but dude what happened to you? Why'd you disappear?

But not as much fun as playing a really good football team and mercy ruling them!!!!

After you get your socks deeked off you a few times, playing full feild 7 on 7, you will see. 

No its not tackle, but its a whole lot of fun and VERY competitive.  Paid refs, media coverage in Abby etc.

Its like saying a hot lapping day at a road course is for pussies.  No, its not the same as wheel to wheel racing, but you both know damn well you'd do it in a heartbeat.

I have no doubt it's fun, I just had to take a shot, it was open.

I'll stick to my full contact hockey, it's easier to just hit someone when they try to get past you rather than grabbing a flag lol. But yes, just last game I made a defenseman trip over his own legs and bail as I walked through him. I heart sports.

Im back playing again this year...  I would come out and play in the leage your in Ryan, but unfortunalty too much of a drive..  Im stuck playing drop in hockey in sardis untill i can find a team that is closer to me.
