On Behalf of Brett, copied from the old Forum:

The CSM (Colt/Summit/Mirage) club (www.mirageforums.net) I am  involved in is planning a pacific north west meet for this summer..  I am hosting and i am opening the meet to BCDSM as well. You dont have to own a mitsubishi or anything and you can bring any car you want.  Mitsubishi's are recomended tho as it is a Mitsu oriented meet.

Date:  August 21st-23rd
Place: Abbotsford/vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Events:
- Friday night street legal drag racing at Mission Racway (1/4 mile) - gates open at 4:30, racing starts at 5:30
http://www.missionraceway.com/
-Dinner/drinks at one of the local resturants.  (Boston Pizza offers "racer discount" on friday nights with a wrist band from the track)
- Dyno/tune event at Racing Greed preformance shop (AWD mustang dyno!!)
http://www.racinggreed.com/
- BBQ,CAMPING  (at wifes parents property... farm area, 7.5 acers, FIRES ALLOWED!)
- Free accomidation (camping at property) or nearby hotel if you would like ( 10 min drive)
- Party!!  (only have to be 19 to drink up here in BC!!!)
- Scenic twisty drive somewhere in the Fraser Valley
- 2009 Meet T-shirts again!
- ??Garage meet?  do some wrenchin, learn some tips??

Just seeing if any BCDSM guys will be interested in attending.  Some of the U.S. Mirageforum.net members have been having issues with getting passports and making sure that previous convictions dont hamper there ability to cross the border.

Plans are not set in stone as of yet so things may change around.

Pretty much events that i would like to see planned out for the weekend.

-Street legals on fri night at mission.
-Dyno day on saturday at Racing greed
-Camping/partyin/BBQ either friday night or saturday night OR BOTH??!!!!
-Cruise around the fraser valley on a twisty scenic drive somewhere nice.

Figured i would get this out there ASAP so people can plan for it if they would like to participate.

Dyno day is booked in!! figure we will get there on the 22nd around 9ish am?? maybe 10???

We are going to have to get deposts to give RG from everyone that wants to dyno for sure.  I will start collecting and figuring out who is going to do it and i will collect the money and give it to tommy.   He is giving us a group rate if we can get 7 or more people on the dyno.

$60 for 3 pulls.  (VERY GOOD RATE!!)

Whos going to do the Dyno.

I just checked the mission raceway website and according to their schedule, there is no street legals that night, just test and tune that day.  Usually it's test and tune during the day and street legals at night, so I don't know if they just forgot to print it in the schedule but you may wanna look into that.  If there is racing that night, I'm down.  Sign me up.  :)

ahhh shit...  thats no good about the street legals not happening.

Oh well there will still be a cruise/dyno/campoutparty.

I will be contacting Mission Raceway and see if i can get a discounted rate for the Test/tune.  Not sure what time they have the track open on the friday... but if its into the night and they will half the price for test/tune  ($70) then it might be cool.... Ill see what i can wrangle up.

Anyone have any connections with ppl at mission raceway that might have some leway?

Yea I know, but I have infiltrated some of their meets and have been met with open valves and warm mufflers.  The love of cars and the pursuit of performance transcends all brands.

Well im meeting up at the acherage.... and then driving with the MPF guys and any other DSM guys out to mission raceway (if we can get the test-tune thing to work out)... Then everyone will race and then everyone comes back for dinner/bbq and a PARTAY!!!!

Everyone gets sloshed and then wakes up in the morning of saturday all hungover and heads out to Racing greed for the dynoday.  Im not sure if we are going to do the pre-pay thing yet.  I imagine our club is on good enough terms with RG to just show up and figure out who will be dynoing and make sure they have the money and just pay upfront.  alot easier that way.  Ill give Tommy a call asap and make sure thats okay.   After the dynoday i was thinking that eveyone should meet up at a nice resurant and have some eats and such and then everyone can decide if they want to stick around for the cruise on sunday morning (route undecided.....  Chilliwack lake maybe???...  not sure yet...

Eveyone is welcome to camp out another night on satuday as well and have some BBQ or drinks once again (for the hardcores lol)...

anyways the meet isn;t set in stone.. (eventho it should be as its 21 days away!!)

Any suggestions are welcome.  Time to start getting stuff finalized.
