Lol your going to see pink mesh pink interior and pink calipers on your blackberry Jason
And you have to at least pretend you love it ;)
I figured that's what you'd say Jamie
OEM it is

I asked the paint guy if he could make custom high temp paint he said if I do a couple base coats with high temp white paint I could use any pink paint over it
He said it won't last quite as long as high temp paint but it won't really flake off as its sticking to the high temp base coat not the caliper
It makes sense to me but I don't know shit about paint
How true do you think that is?

your gonna need high heat. Most caliper paint is rated to 500f 3something c. Brakes get Bella hot when you drive fast or are rippin it...the faster you go the harder they have to work to stop right.  Get your valve cover done as well. Then pic me I wana see how it came out. It should be good.

So just using a high temp base and maybe top coat with a regular paint in between wouldn't work?

I would have to call BS on that.

I've heard of high-temp/caliper paint smouldering - Although this was at a trackday, so temperatures would be elevated from what your car will probably see.

That said, I wouldn't put anything but high temp or caliper paint on any brake parts - I'd even go so far as to say bare is better.

You might look into anodising, though - I'm not sure how it stands up to heat.
Objects in mirrors appear to be losing.

From what I understand anodising supposedly stands up to heat
I just don't understand why they don't make pink effing paint for anything

Powder coating wouldn't be a good idea I'm guessing
I think it needs to be like baked right? And there's rubber on the calipers
I don't know what to do :(
