Do you have a technical manual?  I have a CD manual that contains the technical diagrams for the wiring and where some of the hoses may go for each part.

Let me know if you need it.

RG is open Saturdays, so that`s where I`ll be today.  One top of that, the clutch in the Laser is dead so I really need to change it, along with fixing the grinding 3rd gear.

If you are going to work on your own car, I recommend you get to know every single part via the service manual and other online resources.  Good luck with your motor install, the weather looks perfect today.

The thing is, a third party REALLY butchered it on the way out and has since vanished from the picture.  So not only does Mark have to fix all the serious mistakes(one being a ripped open steel brake line at the curved section coming out of the ABS unit) he has to put it back togeather not having taken it apart.

Plus tons of the bolts and other hardware is missing.

Not to take anything away from Josh's situation, but one person helping him is all that is really needed, to pass tools, hold a light possibly etc. The turbo swap is fairly easy.  This mess at Marks car could be helped along alot by more bodies.

I am going to try my best, but I also have a big mess on my hands.  downpipe and oil pan have to come off and pistons have to come out today.

Mark, if you haven't done so already, you  may want to find out what all you need to get this thing togeather, such as all the missing bolts, a section of brake line that will thread into that abs unit etc.

I have a flare tool so if you get the correct piece of brake line with the correct threaded end we can fit that in.

Vacuum hoses etc, are not a big deal, seriously.  Someone will show up with another 1g and we can just match it up.  Hell, my N/T 4g63 Galant is close enough for that if no one else shows.

I'd be more comfortable having done the job before the engine was allready stuck back into the car so I could inspect it and find whats wrong and fix issues.

Not to mention putting the wiring harness on the motor before it goes in.
