ya, this is the one with the noisy trans, didnt bother me though since I have a parts car,(it shifts better than my other trans but a bearing is noisy),  it runs exc and has low mileage so the few other issues didn't really matter to me.

if it is a trans bearing would it be constantly noisy or only when on the throttle?

If its noise all the time (when off the clutch) its the throw out bearing.
If its noise when accelerating, its the input shaft usualy.
If its noise all the time, (off and on clutch) its something else. Unless it does it while its not moving too.

ok thanks, sounds like its the input shaft.   wouldn't be very hard to do the trans swap if my shop hadn't collapsed on top of the parts car. looks like I will be dealing with this bearing for a while till I have a place to work on it.

my tranny makes a noise, I was wondering what it was...when the clutch pedel is to the floor, the trans is quiet...when the car is in gear, its quiet the ONLY time it makes a knocking kind of noise is when in nutral and the clutch is disengaged...sitting and idling in nutral is the only time. is that a bearing or the trhow out bearing?

it seems to come and go aswell...like 3 days of no noise...then one day idling in a parking lot it will sound like the motors rod knocking, then when i push the clutch in ...silence. then it will go away after a little bit of driving and do it again one day later in the week...doesnt seem to serious I dont think?

I've never had an issue with them when i've had that happen in the past to me..
Could be the clutch fork too, putting it in an akward position causing it to vibrate.
