I need to hit the junkyard and get a nicer piece of trunk upholstery when I have time.
I tried passing snowboards through the ski pass and that was no go. So best used as "bass pass" LOL.
installed sub and amp. The small Honda battery isn't quite keeping up with the discharge.....Going to hunt a hand-me-down cap in the near future.
Interior mods: Momo Tuner steering wheel, Greddy shift knob, Greddy Turbo Timer, Greddy Turbo boost controller, Alpine deck, Mazda RX-7 FD3S seats. Apexi S-AFCII. Everything goes with the awesome automatic climate control system like a dream. The grey fabric front seats go very well with the rest of the interior, you won't know it's not OEM until you look at the legs.
Factory stereo is prewired to 6 speakers. rear speakers are pioneer 300W units, front door speakers are Kenwood 200W units. the indash 4" is left alone. Looking for something cheap to install some other time. The sub is Kenwood 800W unit too btw.
The jewel of the package is the Alpine deck. While it's a lowly CD only receiver its sound output is damned awesome and the control through it compensates for the lack of it in my cheapo MTX amplifier. Keeping my options open for a 4 ch or 2ch install for driving the speakers. Right now just gonna enjoy it for what it is.
