OH and dont forget to take out your sidemount lol excess weight lol....plus then you can do a custom turbo intake and put the filter down there so you get nice cold air...I would have done this if I had short route piping like you will have. just an idea....

Placing the filter down there is asking for trouble, mud, water maybe enter the filter and saturate it and possible damage can be done to the turb impellers blade etc....Definitely take it out as Shane stated though

there are lots of guys that run it this way, you obv have to protect it when u place it down there... but I hear this drops intake temps like 100 degrees or somethin

Shane, remember his car is 7 years newer than ours, hehe, his bolts are less rusty  :)

As for the intake piping and filter, just make sure its up fairly high in there.  mine couldn't injest pure water until I was in water up to the middle of my wheels or higher.  Just stay out of huge puddles and the ditch.  Sound advice no matter where your air filter is  :)

Josh, get a 1g bov, or a Greddy Type-S or a Forge Motorsports one.  All are direct fits for a 1g part.  Or anything that fits a 2.0 Skyline inline 6 single turbo.

So pipes all in 2nd time around!
Installed them all last night went for a good boot down the road and i blew 2 couplings. Tighten them down and now im recirculating again. Pulling about 12psi with the mbc. Heres some pics of the install.

not bad for wat i paid for the set up. Pulls sexy now ;)
