Valve cover/spark plug well gaskets
« on: June 02, 2008, 04:47:49 pm »

I'm gonna re-seal my valve cover gasket tonight (it's got a little leak on the exhaust side right above the manifold)
How are the spark plug well gaskets on the 4g63, should I reseal/replace them, or are they reusable?
They're like expensive pokemon... gotta catch 'em all.

Thanks. wasn't sure if they were included or not. Sorry, I wrote it funny, i'm replacing my old one, not just re-sealing it.

 Edit: Well, that was easy.

BTW, I used Red RTV, not black (Couldn't find black) is that ok?

oh yea. it has an even higher heat rating than back. so its over kill. but hey over kill is better than a hack job.

I always try to err on the side of overkill ;) Like my AFPR to replace a stock FPR, with no real *need* for it.
