but you wont be able to do the things that you do with your eclipse to this A4. And they are more expensive to fix.

That is true but the market for the a4 is just as big as the audi.  Its in there with the Bmw's  Ive gone euro style and with the new job contract i jsut accepted ill be doin well for dollars. So in that time i may look for a 1g for race days.

Good for you Jamie, but I am with lyle.
I was into vw/audi before DSM and they are pain indeed to maintain. :)

lol, im starting to feel the DSM frustration, i can prolly drive mine 2 weeks out of every month lol. I almost made it to osoyoos and back, from kelowna.
so that was exciting.
Did anyone else go to the drags in osoyoos? (sorry to hijack the thread)

The problem i have , and i think almost everyone has  ;) , is beating on the thing lol, so god damn hard to quit tho lol
I should prolly take it easy for a while when i get mine back on the road, see if it lasts a whole month.
will be even harder once i get this external gate set up, i dont think i have the will power to be able to hold back the boost lol

you should be able to be hard on it and still have it drive and start. I mean as long as your maintence is up then so should the car yeah ?

dude my '93 is mint. left it sitting under a tree for 7 months, all the fluid just sitting. went to start it and it did, zero frustration. changed to oil, coolant and thermostat, took it for a drive for 15 mins, went to aircare. passed with flying colours. haven't done anything to it since and it still starts with no fuss. no signs of any sort of problems. if i didn't know better i'd say it wasn't a DSM. this car is amazing
I dont care what anyone says about my car. It only had 1 error code.
