my ricey talon
« on: May 04, 2008, 07:27:23 pm »
yes im aware im probably going to get a few negative comments but 1Gs with body kits are uncommon

rear bumper was a bitch still needs to b adjusted and pulled in for some reason the kit was stupidly too wide at the wheel wells
and it mounts beside the body rather than underneath like the stock one

Looks like a work in progress Travis, a fair bit more to go I would say.  As for negative comments I would have to say it is usually because most kits are incongruous with the design of the 1G, and usually left in a state yours  currently is in.

just the side skirts left to put on and the body filler and primer then paint
its not getting left as is and i may take the mesh out once i get a fmic
and my buddy figured out how to fix the bad sides where it sticks out
funny part is the back bumper has no spots for the side markers so the bulbs are just hanging and they glow behind the fiberglass

The front bumper isn't bad,  If you get the paint looking nice and the sideskirts to match it...  as well as fixing up the rear bumper, it might not be that bad.  Remember your going to need some pimp rims as well to go along with the kit.

Keep us updated.  sucks ass that you cant go over bumps and shit.  I like going on bumpy gravel roads with my talon and pretending to rally it.  You definalty will never be able to do that again, let alone get into your old driveway.
