yeah, my clutch still slips if i launch it too hard.  If i keep the RPM's around 4500 or lower on the launch it doesn't slip hardly and launches good.  Trying to launch at anything over 5000 makes it slip pretty bad.

I like the vid Mark, I am still running 9 psi. It was pretty even in 2nd gear, but could not keep up in 3rd.  Was a lot of fun :)

yeah brens gears are way differernt then a 1G AWD ratios.  I also found out that 2G AWD gear ratio's are way different then 1G AWD ratios

I pulled up next to jamie and he wanted to do a 2nd gear pull.  I started at 6000 RPM, he must have started at a much lower RPM cuz by the time my turbo spooled at was at redline and he was way ahead... but when we went at it in 3rd gear then i pulled a bit on him cuz he was probably at a lower RPM then me.


And brendan! get that crappy 1" exhuast off that car!! Its hurting your power so bad! and get your walbro 255 in there and a MBC!!  then that colt will be keepin up for sure.

actually it is 1.5" exhaust  :P   and I am ordering my 3" down pipe this week, and will get full 3" exhaust once I get dp.  I found those cheap mbc's we got before I am going to buy 3 or 4 of them

nice those cheap MBC's work good for what they are.

I will go electronic oneday tho to eliminate the guesswork or the screw turning and then rippin on it to see if it hits fuel cut lol

you know what? A good manual is pretty simple and foolproof.  You won't really gain anything going electronic except some showyness inside the car and some bling factor.

you can do a 2 and 3 stage manual setup with some solenoids and stuff if you want 2 and 3 stages of boost.

Once I got a good boost controller, I haven't had to play with it at all.  Just set it and forget it.

PS, good video.  Tho some pics of the earlier part of the meet would have been cool too  ;)
