Destruction of ACT Extream pressure plate.

Found out why i cant get it into gears hahaha.



Humm, I wonder if its covered by warrenty, Only had it for 6 months



Gotta get it machined

I'm assuming it had alot to do with how he drove it  ;)

that got pretty hot, repeatedly and often.

As well, Jamie, don't machine that, its probably not going to be ok, replace it, with either a good used one correctly machined or an ACT or Fidanza aftermarket one.  Do it while its apart, its a big job to do it again.

Oh and PS, do the crankshaft seal and trans input seal as well, no use to pull it apart again.  Anything that is wearable and replaceable in there replace it now.

yeah thats true, Its just about the bling in the pocket now.. If i can get a flywheel for like 100 - 200 bucks allright

So this is the new setup.

Act 2600
Fidanza Aluminum flywheel
Stainless Steel Braided Clutch line.
Checked out the fork and barring and there still new. I may get it fabed for strength.. I dono tho.. or just order a new one..

Im running a warrantied Clutch Masters clutch right now. Im planning on a QM twin disc in the near future for the new setup. In my DSM days I've been through 2 CFDF's, 1 ACT 2100, 2 ACT 2600's(mainly the discs) and one Clutch Master(Also known as the Kinetic 3500 series clutch). Hopefully a twin disc will last,lol.
