i always thought it was measure once cut twice... hmm guess that's where i go wrong.

I like sealed subs, not as loud but i'm more of a sound quality fella... don't need the big boom. Probably why 75% of my speakers are MB Quartz.

Atleast I know now that I'm not the only one with a heavy ass boom box in the back of my dsm  ;D

I've got a 4 cu/ft ported box with 2 12" Rockford punch HX2. Last year i hit 139.7db, but i'm building a bigger box this year so i should hit alot higher this year, I hope.

would you be able to provide some pics of the box? or a pic like the one Ivan put up with colour coded pieces with lengths. that'd be super. whats the box tuned to?
