Ds-map / Jackal, highly recommended.  I've been running it for the last 3 - 4 years.  Amazing improvement in throttle response and overall power under part throttle conditions, and that was with the old maf still in place for 2 years.  Amazing tuning platform in my opinion, and best of all free.

Well it looks like I won't be making it this year.  After a week of off and on tuning I finally got it to where I'm pretty happy with it.  Went over to a friend's for a couple of hours tonight and on the way home (about 11:30pm) the alternator light came on.

  Spent a half hour or so checking connections, fuses, etc, bypassed the isolator, still no go.

  Up until now not a hint of electrical trouble.  Well I did have to shorten my gap to .024 to get rid of misfiring under boost, but logged voltage always indicated a charge.

Oh well, in the tradition of this meet at least one car has to die the night before the event.  I guess this is my year :wink:
