BC Classic and Custom Car Show - Tradex
« on: April 27, 2007, 09:26:28 am »
Just a heads up in case no one heard about this.  I hate missing car shows or races because I forget about them or just don't hear about them.

Anyways, at the Tradex in Abbotsford.  Supposed to have some pretty cool customs and hot rods, a couple Barris built cars, imports, race cars, some nitro top fuel cars.

I'll be there for sure.

Rod's mustang is going to be the highlight of the show:

At 8:30 they rolled out 5 nitro dragsters and fired them up.  For anyone who's never been near a nitro car, it's an experience.  Your ears hurt, the ground shakes, your eyes water and your throat burns.  It's awesome!

The one car lit up on 6 cylinders, the two back holes were playing hooky and it was spraying raw nitro 15 feet out the pipes onto us, haha, it felt like rain only it made your eyes and throat burn.  I can't believe the amount of raw fuel coming an individual cylinder at idle.  There were wet spots on the pavement 4' long.

Some nice cars there too.  It was a good show.
