Fabbed this up between busting myself on my bike...

What ya think? Considering it cost me 240$ including the SS Race Magnaflow... Sounded better without the muffler though!

Nice exhaust. How does that magnaflow sound? Is it pretty quiet at idle? What about full throttle? Im thinking of buying it.

Same muffler as Ive got.  Its not what id  call quiet at idle, but its not rediculous.  As for wide open, its got a nice sound, pretty loud.  I like it a lot but I run no cat.

It's got a very quiet idle in my opinion. WOT is louder than other mufflers I have had on turbo cars. You can deffinitally hear it :).

Nicely done.
I'm thinking of doing the same. Could you please list what bends you used?

well done!!  :)

I like  how your muffler is hidden up under there, no great honking fart can tip.   Looks sleeper.

You say 3" from the flex pipe back, what size before that?  If its still stock, that has to be your next project.  The downpipes on our cars are very much a weak point as far as performance is concerned.

Thanks Guys!

Parts list:

1 - 8' 3" pipe
1 - 3" U bend Mandrel
1 - 2.5" U bend
1 - 2.5" Flexpipe
1 - 2.5" flange
1 - Reducer 3" - 2.5"
1 - 2.5" Clamp
3 ft 3/8 steel rod
1 - 3" SS Race Magnaflow muffler

I did the down pipe as well which was a sinch... Only one bend. As for the bends in the rest of the exhaust I cut the 3" U bend into 4 equal parts which would make them 15degree bends... Then I tacked them up before welding them in place. I did have to change the angle a bit to get the muffler where I wanted it.

Car is noticably faster on the butt dyno. I don't seem to get any boost creep or anything on the stock tune... Other mods to come...

Good Luck!
