If I posted a picture of my wife on a predominantly male message board, I would fully expect comments of a similar nature to Graeme's, and would take those comments as a testament to her hotness; nothing more.

Chill out guys!

Agreed. In fact, we should open up a new thread dedicated to the hotness of our lady friends.

Hey Landon,

Just gotta thank you again for posting this. I just finished sanding all four of my rims down. (As my arm falls off).  They look soooooo much better even though they are not painted yet. Would have been nice too have an assistant, but i couldn't find any pretty girls that wanted to sand my rims for a few hours :P
Anyways thanks again, this was really helpful and really adds to the look of the car. props to you!

Hey Graeme, something to maybe try.  I was gonna but I wanted black.

Sand them so they look nicely brushed, "grain" all one way and looking nice.  Then clear them.  No colour!!  I think it would look really nice, very industrial.  Just the clear to keep the metal from oxidizing.

Thats actually not a bad idea. I got some paint already I was gunna go gold on the rims and leave the trim part polished. I keep second guessing myself though, i know how landon feels, standing in C-tire for an hour looking at the same rack of paint. I think tomorrow i will just see how I feel and go with it lols.

You could always paint them 2 and 2 so that one side of the car has one colour and the other side is another colour.  Like that Audi, right John?

yea that Audi was a bit wierd.  I also had white wheels on one side and silver on the other once.

Graeme, I wouldn't spend the time clearing it if its just a test.  It won't look significantly different without the clear.
