The highway up to whistler is pretty much done, whole canyon is 4 lanes so thats awesome, as per tunnels, there has never been tunnels on hwy 99 north of van,  Maybe burnaby? However whistler is like a 25 minute drive from squamish, takes like 1h45 from the city, not a huge drive. But a good 1 day event for sure.
It'd be nice to get more small meets like that where everyone can come out.

oh i have drove  alot when i was working up there i love the drive . i mean it is only 145 min for most of you but for everyone else its 2h and more. wich will make it more like a second major  meetafter FVT .

a small meet should be somewhere in between i would  suggest surrey/ langey area its close enough for everyone.

so is there any news about the FVT? is it going to happen this year ?

Given that Harrison has pay parking, maybe we could have lunch in Hope instead.....  Not really sure where we could go.   :?   But it's a thought.....

We could try to arrange free parking for our event. And even if it's paid Can't be more than a dollar an hour, $5 per person should be enough, Mike could you find out the rate?
