Having your GM MAF rotated like that may cause tuning issues.  Also, NHRA rules forbid the mounting of your fuel pressure regulator on the firewall.

Other than that.....look HOT!!!

I've got room to spin it, that was just in for some test fitting anyway.

As for the FP regulator, that's stupid... 6" away hung off the shock tower isn't going to be any safer, the lines still go to the firewall to make the return run.  I'm not doubting the rule, it's just stupid is all.  I'll take my chances   :P

The car won't be legal anyways right off because I won't have a battery disconnect switch in there, I'm not entirely sure how I want to do that yet.

There's the greasy grimey bottom end.  I can take apart most of the motor with a hex key.  8)

If you look real close in the 3rd and 4th pic... what the shizzle nizzle!? Aluminum half moon gasket!?

How did everyone know that was a 2.4 from the pics? or just cuz you helped build it or provided info?

Just wondering

 Not even close, this thing is C.L.E.A.N :P

Did you have to take apart a small aircraft to get all those fittings?

The block is 6mm taller than stock, if that's not blatantly obvious you need to get into Hondas or something.   :P    Meron assembled the bottom end for me and sourced some of the nice bits.  That and his head guy saved my uber-ported chunk of aluminim from the scrap heap.  I owe Mike many thanks.    :D

Big thanks to Ryan too for providing such a great foundation to add some paint and polish to.    :D

And no, I didn't pull apart any aircraft, just left alot of money at Mopac.   :P  I can't wait to get it done.  180 flywheel hp here I come!
