my brother ryan blew his tranny tonight....

He was on the  Upper Levels Highway and downshifted into 2nd to go up a hill and there was a loud clunk and the tranny didnt work... pulled over to the side of the highway and there is a pool of oil gathering under the car....

this tranny was just rebuilt about 1-2 months ago :(
its been towed back to LR... any ideas what could have happened?

It was my third night out.. I WAS NOT BEATING ON IT. I was going up a hill and it made a horrible noise then that was it. It was recently done.. I am distraught ! I didn't even have 5 hours driving it yet, but I have been driving a standard car for 5 years so I am not inept ;p

We took the trans out today, and the front diff broke apart and cracked the case. The front motor mount is also torn right off the subframe... can you say wheel hop?"

hehe. I still ain't gunna knock lowell. The car was done nicely! Just something with the tranny.. Well i got hit with a sweet ass 300 deductable bill today =/ The last 6 months have been terrible for me.. I wonder what will happen next ?!
