So I've hoisted my motor:


All by myself too, I might add.  More beer for me! :P

Be careful of that little reverse postion indicator connector on the tranny,  I cracked it, but thankfully didn't break it.  I hope it still works.......

One thing I would recommend is putting foam protection around sensitive areas of the engine bay and/or the engine/tranny, so if you are hoisting and bump into something, its somewhat protected.

I will be putting my engine in on Saturday. Let me know how long it takes you to drop the new one in. Van Kam is delivering the motor today!!!I will post the "Drunken Guy in Engine Bay"pic when I get my film developed. It's great. Smoke and Toddy in hand doing the running man in the engine bay
