Cost of a complete 6 bolt?
« on: April 27, 2003, 07:53:52 pm »
I'm thinking of trading up to a 97-98 AWD.  I would like to put a 6 bolt in it so I'm wondering if it's worth it for me to sell my 90 as is and buy a seperate engine, or, just strip my car of all the g1 goodies?

If you can afford to have them both for a while, why not play three card monty with the good bits and sell the crankwalking - 1G to a dummy. I have never heard of this being done but I assume it is possible.

I was just wondering what the costs involved are.  And, can you put a 2g engine in a 1g car.  I assume you can but you dont here of it much because a 2g engine is usually more expensive!  Anyone have ideas on $$$.

You can't put a 7 bolt engine in to a 6 bolt car.   Something to do with a missing motor mount......

Your building up a 4G64 aren't you.  Where did you find the block, i mean, what cars come with them stock?
