forgive my stupidity but i am relatively new to the dsm world....i was just wondering...there r a few good lookin, nicely modded fwd tsi's for sale on the site...i am tryin to move outta the fwd world into awd or rwd...my question is, is there any way to convert to awd (preferably) or rwd??...if so, how much r we talkin for a swap?

For 1G, no.

For 2G yes, but it's ridiculously expensive.

fair enuf ....i know a few ppl who have spent rediculous amoutns of money on cars when they coulda bought soemthing sweet like an M3...uniqueness is a good reason to spend that money on ur car tho

I'm pretty sure it's even easier dropping a 1G AWD drivetrain into a 1G FWD.
