Tick, tick, tick in the morning, I'm getting annoyed so it's time for the new set of lifters.

Does anyone know the P/N for the replacement lifters? I guess, the 2nd gen is the right choice (mine is '92)?

Are those dealer_only thingies or you can get 'em from elsewhere (cheaper)?

Thanks

You're probably not going to want the dealer lifters.  I think my quote for them was $44 ea, so about $800 for the set.  I don't have the part number anymore.  I'd recommend L&R racing, they have them in the $250 range for the full set of 16.

Chattering lifters are normal in the morning, mine do it for about 2 seconds and my engine has 95,000 original kms on it :)

Yeah, I know it's normal but it just annoys me greatly.

I picked up a set off ebay for $115 US + 20 for shipping. I am getting them installed this weekend. If everything is fine after that I was thinking of calling the guy to arrage a group buy.
