Can anyone tell the difference?

The side skirts from the 1995-96 are bigger and wider than the 97-99's.  The 95-96 are thicker and wider but still the same length.  I put up the old ones up against my car and they seem to fit.  Then i put the newer ones those seem to fit also but they didn't stick out as much.  

The only visual difference i've seen is that the older ones stick out 1/2 inch more and look bigger.  I am molding them in and paint my car (not bolting on or double sided taping), would it be a problem putting on 95-96 skirts on a 97-99?

why would u do that? the 97-99 sideskirts are way nicer than 95-96...i dont think the 95-96 even have sideskirts?

The 95-96 GS and GST's do have side skirts.  I put the moldings side by side, only difference is the older ones stick out more, the newer ones are smaller.  The older ones stick out more like a bodykit and are nicer than the newer ones, just in my opinion.

well okay, but my question was what is the difference between them both?  They both look the same to me...

if they fit, or you can make them fit, and you like the look of em, go for it!

if you have to answer no to either of the first 2 questions, I'd say don't go for it.
