new engine bay pics
« on: February 23, 2005, 02:22:54 pm »
These are my new pics i just snapped.  Major cosmetic improvements were the intake manifold powder coating and powersteering pump/bracket painting, those two things made a huge difference, i also painted up a few other small things, but you dont really notice.
Some chrome heat shields and i'll be on my way.

I'm not sure if you really want to be advertising the use of ractive strut braces.

The strut bar looks nice, I think Andrew's just referring to the Ractive sticker as it's a bit of a lame/ricy brand. Example products include huge aluminum wings, LED muffler tips, and non-functional chromed antennas :?

But back on topic, that's one hot engine bay. You could eat off of that valve cover.

Hahha, yea i'm not really a huge supporter of them, but the paint in the engine bay isn't that nice, kinda faded a bit for some reason, so i thought the sticker made it look nicer.  I have a pic of what the engine bay looked like last year, i wanna post it, i wonder if anyone can notice a difference.

I'm refering to the fact that Ractive makes shit strut bars :P I think the stickers and everything look great under the hood, nice job Mike. One good thing about those strut braces is that they're cheap to replace when they bend, unlike greddy bars.

No doubt. I've only heard that the brackets start to bend under seriously crazy driving anyway, so It's probably doing you some good anyway.
