last night I was driving home   kinda pushing the car and ended up blowing off a chage pipe, so I costed to the gas stop  so I would have some light to put it back on.   so I put the pipe back on  and drove the rest of the way home without boosting because I just kinda  set the pipe back in the hose because I didnt have any tools.   anyways  as soon as I got home  and  was going to wait for the car to idel before shuting off, but the car started to make a grolling noice and died. so I tried it again and the same thing happend. any one no what it could be  I think the motor is done for but I have to cheack it out still.

Sounds like you still have an intake leak.  Button it up...you should be fine.

you need to make sure all your hoses are connected and sealed.

take the intake (filter to turbo) pipe off and make sure there's nothin in the turbo inlet

try to isolate where the grinding/seizing sound is comming from.

Less material, but different material.  Grabs better, however, it's unsprung - so engagement and disengagement is static, there's no gradual engagement.  For a purely street car, this may not be what you're looking for.  I'd hate to be stuck in downtown somewhere during heavy traffic with that clutchdisc - go, stop.  go, stop. go, stop.

F(f) = m * F(n)

That is:

Force of friction = (m is the greek letter mu, the coefficient of friction) times the Normal force, or perpindicular force.

F(n) is the force the pressure plate applies to the clutch material

m is the relative "stickyness" between the disc material and the flywheel.

It's the friction between the flywheel and the clutch disc that gets the power to the tranny.  The area of the friction area will help heat dissipation during slippage but doesn't directly affect the friction potential.

The ACT 2600 6 puck has a larger m value and a larger normal force, so more friction and more power handling potential.  It doesn't slip very well tho and it's not very streetable because of it.  Get something like a 2600 with a street disc.
