sounds like loose belt(s)

you're a 2G NT, turbo'd - right?  If so, you' dbe the first I've ever heard of crank walk on a 2G NT

squeal is belts.  when turning, power steering.

When CV's go they clunk/rattle/rhythmically click when at full lock and driving.  Totally different.

hey, a belt is alot cheaper than CV's, count your blessings ;)
