« on: November 01, 2004, 05:35:01 pm »
I did that rebuild on my engine. For some reason when the boost gauge dosen't move when trying to start it, it will not start. But is the boost gauge moves it will start. Any body know why it is doing that

not sure exactly what is causing it, but if your boost guage is moving, its is reacting to manifold pressure or vacuum. If it is NOT moving there is no vacuum.  Vacuum is the engine sucking in air and if its not, then it aint gonna start.

Seeing as you just did a rebuild, there are so many things it could be.  I'd say take it to someone who is close to you that knows these engines.
