I just finishing installing my boost gauge the other day, with my free mods I hit just a hair over 15 psi when it spikes right before the wastegate opens, then it drops to 14.5... more than I was expecting, 3" home made exhaust going on soon

Boost creep, and uncontrolable boost spikes are two completely different things with very different solutions.

A big exhaust may cause boost creep, but it will not cause spiking of any kind. Spikes are caused by poorly designed MBCs, and poorly planned vac hose routing (ie. too long). The BCS does not do a good job of controling boost at higer than stock levels anyways. The solinoid is just too small.

And stop calling me stupid! I'm just slow!

I love boost spike.  Right now I have 9psi of it.  It was only 3psi a week ago until things changed themselves.  :x

I know boost creep and spike are different... I was just saying for free mods only I've got a couple pounds more than stock, which makes a decent difference
