Boost creep, and uncontrolable boost spikes are two completely different things with very different solutions.
A big exhaust may cause boost creep, but it will not cause spiking of any kind. Spikes are caused by poorly designed MBCs, and poorly planned vac hose routing (ie. too long). The BCS does not do a good job of controling boost at higer than stock levels anyways. The solinoid is just too small.
