This is a few pics of my rebuild. I didn't take as many as I wanted because... well because I didn't want to get my camera dirty or stop "the flow" :wink:
Too bad I couldn't get the classic sitting in engine bay pic but there just wasn't any room what with the block and tranny remaining in the car the whole time
* I put on a rebuilt head ($400)
* Replaced the rod and main bearings with King Racing ones ($120)
* Replaced the Pistons and rings with Nippon ones ($150)
* Threw in a new all-metal rad while I was at it ($150)
Whole job, including everything, I estimate I spent about $1000
I'm now almost finnished the break-in period and apart from my nerves getting the best of me now and then as I pull over everywhere to check on things, it's gone pretty well. [/list]
