oh boy...
yea the coefficient of the coolers efficiency increases in a logarithmic proportionality to its seperation from the horizontal. Well, before someone gets in here and corrects me, I know its only up to the point of diminishing returns. Practically, it is about 7 degrees, passenger side raised upwards. That is assuming right to left flow and front to back cooling air/air intercooler. Also it seems more usefull on bar and plate units.
Those in dry, hot areas such as Arizona benefit from a few more degrees due to the less dense air, but here where we have high barometric pressures, and much more moisture per air unit volume, we actually see more gains from about a 5 deg tilt. Now thats been only tested on a Dynojet tho, and with a fan for airflow, not actual moving car airflow, so your mileage may vary.
