I don;t have one for my rims.

But hey, I bought mine from Lowell...

I have known some friends that bought used cars with rims.  One friend had his stolen and ICBC was cool as he had many pics of the car with the rims on it.

Not sure what to tell you.  Call ICBC and ask them.

you dont need receipts, just take a lot of pictures of your car with the rims on them.... thats good enough

Just make sure the guy you're buying from didn't just rip them off someone else's car.  Whenever the other person doesn't have receipts, and he's very evasive about his contact info etc etc, I get suspicious and I don't buy it.

I agree, if they do not have a reciept, and you do not know the person beware.

a) Do not support the citizens of Surrey  :roll:
b) Do not get dragged out of your car by some big bad angry man at a stop light when he sees his rims on your ride.
c) Do not go through that whole "posession of stolen property" bit.

It is nice to at least see his ID and ask him to sign something to the affect that he sold them to you. It may save your bacon at some point.

when i buy stuff with no receipt i usually just get the guy to photocopy his drivers licence & write,sign a reciept.. so if anything does happen.. u have all his info.. if some big mofo tries to drag your ass out ur car at a red light saying u have his rims .. just give the big mofo the other guyz info & let him deal with it..

It took over as the highest automobile theft rate per capita in North America last year.  :shock:

I was Surrey born and raised. There were pockets of goodness there yes - like Semiahmoo area, Crescent Beach, Panorama Ridge.... But Whalley, Newton, Guildford....
The Grand Theft Auto game is used as a training video there  :P

It was meant as a joke anyway.

ahhh man! I live in newton...... its not that bad....... ok yeah it is..... but whalley is worse!
