tightening alternator belt
« on: December 09, 2003, 04:43:13 pm »
my alternator belt has come loose, it's very annoying. is it one of those belts that's easy to tighten or does tons of other stuff have to come off to reach it? i have the haynes manual but havn't checked it yet. it seems sort of tricky.

easy fix?

1G = a quick 10mm wrench job.
1 loosen tightening bolt, adjust the adjusting bolt, then re-tighten the other one.
