cleaning/balancing injectors
« on: December 09, 2003, 10:50:54 pm »
I was wondering if anyone knew of a local place that cleans, flow tests and balances injectors.  I got a dirty set, and they'd look purdy on my fuel rail.  Just hoping my only option isn't to send them away

Come to my front door, and turn right, walk 22 paces, turn left, forward 10 paces, open door, walk inside.......

NW fuel can clean and test they're usually 30.00 Ea after tax

Just do a search for fuel injectors on in the phone book, all those places could do it.

I've used this place called Surrey Diesel Injection Services.  They're pretty good, about $25/injector.  Number is 946-0140, and they are right in Tilbury industrial park.  They couldn't flow my 550s at full pressure though, cos their flow measurement flask overflowed :).  But otherwise, the injectors came out clean, and I went from fuel adjustments of -17% to -19%, so up almost 9ccs!

Go to NW Fuel injection for sure.  I tried another shop who shall remain nameless, but lets just say that the injectors that 'passed' ended up at NW and 3 of them were down over 10% after supposedly being cleaned and flowed.
