Was the ECU . . . but the car stopped working again.


Any way to test the ECU to see why they are shorting?
OBD Scan tool says it can not connect, so I can't tell from the OBD port.

Can I swap an ECU from a 98 into my 95? or is there a lot I would need to change?

as far as a 2g NT (420a engine) there are differences between the years.  I think I had a 99 ecu once, and it was not the same as a 97 ECU.

I'm just wondering if there is a difference with the 2Ga and 2Gb ECU, as my car is a 95.
From what I've seen I've only been able to use the ECU from a 95-96 . . . slim pickings for 420a DSM's these days.

Slim Pickings for any DSM or for that matter ANY Mitsubishi.  I have been to 10 or 11 different auto wreckers lately and have seen 2 talons, 1 eclipse, and 2 2000 something Galants.  I will continue to keep my eyes out for a 95 ECU though.  If you get confirmation on any interchanges let us know.
