Fuel pump wire connecting issue
« on: June 08, 2014, 11:36:27 am »
My fuel pump disconnects under acceleration.
Problems traces to the factory 4 wire plug connector to the fuel tank (pump)...
I found one of the male pins covered in blue and scrapped it clean and soaked it in vinegar.
Used dielectric grease.
Two weeks later the problem returned.

I am wondering what the best fix (not butcher job)  is for this?

new connector.. (get used or repair) and/or replace fuel pump bracket/hanger assembly.
I like Colts.  Turbo Colts.
