any good shops in abby that will do extrude honing?

Im pretty sure that the Lordco Machine shop in Mission does porting and such..  Thats  who my old boss said he deals with for a local shop that does porting work.

yea but actual extrude honing?  I don't think there are any shops in this area at all.  In fact I think you have to ship it to California to get that done.  Its a huge expensive machine.

For porting of the stock intakes, Lowell apparently does a great job on them.  Anyone can grind out metal, but he has done several and has dyno tested before and after so he knows what to take off and where and what shapes to make things. 

I suggest you do that.

You wont find extrude honing anywhere. It's way to expensive now vs custom fabricated manifolds. There is just no market for it anymore.

I wish they still did due extrude honing though....     the stock 1g manifold is an awesome stock manifold and would perform well better than aftermarket if it were extrude honed and could still take the meth hic-ups without bursting.

although it was years ago when i last looked, closest shop i found was in Cali... and it was HELLA expensive!  i was quoted $700 US before shipping/taxes to extrude home a 6cyl cast exh mani

So the next obvious question is what does Lowell charge and how busy is he?.....i'd be interested.
