Anyone windows condense after a while?
« on: February 11, 2012, 04:44:21 pm »
If your car sits for any period of time I recommend DRI-Z-AIR

The product works FN amazing at soaking up every bit of moisture in the car and placing it in a little bucket.

My seals on my car blow monkey nuts and the cars after a while I noticed some windows were soaked inside.

I decided to try DRI-Z-AIR from crappy tire and it worked wonders.

My interior and windows are dry.

The product I used was the "classic design Dehumidifier"

Just thought this may come in handy. ;)

I do not know how much you paid for that,
but the dollar store carries something similar,
for $2, works great. ;D :D ;D

yup... i use it for my stored cars to keep moisture out...  But daniel is right... the "fluid" it leaves behind..... is SUPER corrosive to metals...  so dont go driving around with it inside the car....made that mistake once... lol and i also spilled it over some of my wrenches... and it totally started rusting them and eating away at the chrome vanduim coatings.

Just picked one up a couple weeks ago as I noticed moisture building up in mine while it's waiting for garage space to open up again.

No water leaks that I can find, carpet's all dry, just condensation. No car is ever completely dry.
Objects in mirrors appear to be losing.

Calcium Chloride. Very salty stuff, which is why the left over brine is super corrosive.  Most Farm/Garden centres sell it in 50 lb bags for decent price.  Just pour some into a tough plastic container, place in vehicle, after awhile it soaks up all the moist air and you flush it down a toilet. Great stuff.
