its a common problem with the ACT PP's.  seen it more then a few times.

If you still have the recipt or something....it might be worth a try to get it replaced free of charge.

I got it from Amir he said it had 15k on it and I put 2k on, I found a act 2100 with 1.5k but I'm not shure if I'm going with act again.

Yeah there sure seems to be a lot of horror stories with act... The springs like to pop out of tHe disks too...

Also if they are not installed correctly and u bend the bellville spring then the fingers break off shortly thereafter.  People seem to have better luck with the 2100 act pressure plate

I had that happen on the first TWO 2600 act pp.  The first was a finger, the next was half of them leaving me stranded + tow bill. >:(  Third one to be seen. I think I got 25K combined.
Check that the flywheel step height is correct.
If my current one breaks I will go with someone else, maybe a dual. Gl

My problems seemed to disappear with a new act flywheel and clutch. Still, its a good idea to check the adjustments and height to be sure they are within spec. Its refreshing when the clutch disengages properly. ACT figured there was too much travel which broke the fingers, which suggests improper step height or a gremlin.  ;)

Ive always used an act 2600 with a fresh act flywheel and I have never had any problems. In fact I re-used the ACT pressure plate for two clutch disks before it needed to be replaced due to slight surface cracks. Im on my second now ACT Pressure Plate and thrid clutch disk after 90,000kms

I use a Slowboy Racing Kevlar disk.

I was running an ACT 2100 a while back Same thing happened.

Switched to a Spec Stage 2.
Has, probably 20k on it now and many launches. Holding up well so far.

Objects in mirrors appear to be losing.

I have run cfdf and 2 act with act flywheel. Had a spring fly out of the act 1 time.
20k on 1 clutch is pretty amazing. I would be all over that.
