My custom turbo timer install
« on: July 16, 2009, 04:46:30 pm »
I used the heater vent under the driver side knee guard to mount my turbo timer. It was't that easy, I had to saw some of the plastic out of the heater vent so the timer could fit, drill some holes etc. It was more tedious than hard, I guess.

Here are some pics:

Did you block off the heater duct behind it to try and keep it cooler?

Looks like a good, subtle place for a turbo timer. I like.

No I didn't because it's not a daily driver and I cut off the part that funnels in the heat

Did you fasten the wiring? I was out and about on some rough roads today and the f****** wires moved in the way of the gas/brake pedals. But t'was my own fault hehe

Haha, ofcourse I fastened the wiring! Don't want that shit wrapping around the pedals.
