I know John, I remembered the whole Valentines' thing after I posted. It's all good for me though, my wife's in Toronto until Tuesday so I'm free all day.

I forgot to add, whoever does come...don't forget to wear warm clothes. It'll be cold and probably windy at the downtown beaches.

Here's a list of places we could go:

Downtown Background:
1.  False Creek  southside, just west of the Cambie bridge (Monk McQueens area?)
2.  Kits Beach / Jericho Beach
3.  Stanley Park drive by the totem poles (looking at Shaw Tower / Canada Place)
4.  Lonsdale Quay area in North Van
5.  Ambleside Park In West Van

Mountains:
1. Jericho Beach
2. Queen Elizabeth Park
3. Burnaby Mountain
4. Vancouver Airport

The parking lot on top of canadian tire at 7th and cambie has a great view, if you park along the back (north) wall, which is pretty much unused, you could get some mountains in the bg, pretty sure the parking on the wooden warf behind granville island market would give you some sweet views too.

What is the exact itinerary? I'm going into downtown from Richmond in the morning supposed to get there at 10am and leave for Surrey around 11 - 11:30 ish so I can stop by
