So many reciepts for 2 grand doesn't really seem like much.
I'm glad I stopped saving up reciepts for the talon when I hit the 10k mark.

Reciepts dont do much with icbc with a writen off car nor the blue book. They dont go by that any more they told me.

Its
How clean is your car
any rust
How much did you care for it
Is everythign still in mint condition

Plus you should be lookin on craigslist, Buy sell ect and printing off other queervaliers that are = to yours. Thats the only way youll get the most money. So say if you bought it for 8 and now there goin for 5 6 on craigs then you will be gettin a pretty low sum of money.

From the pics it doesnt look that bad, Did they say how much the damage was?

Oh and for all you 2gers the value of our cars is from 7100 - just under 8000.

car had no rust, was super clean, shaved side moldings, washed it 2 - 3 times a week....inside smelt like a new car with clean carpets etc. he has printed off many cavaliers in the 2000-2003 era, with every option and the 2.4 litre z24 2 door model...average is 6-7 grand for a stock one...a 4 door with a 2.2 is in the 4-5 grand range, so that being said...if his is worth 6 or 7...he also gets pst and gst on that...which would bump it up past 8 grand...PLUS the aftermarket stuff and the money put into it recently. I think he will get 8, and so do the guys I talk to at the Shop i work at

Uhh Icbc does not pay for aftermarket shit.....Which is why you hear many people sayin save your money dont dump it into your car. I had like 5 people tell me that at icbc, Which is why i was told to gut my car which i did. Plus you get a GST voucher...Only good for buying a car off alot. I would be very Surprised if a queervalier was worth more then a 2g.... Im curious now

Your right. When my car was totaled off ICBC would only give me "what the car was worth the day before it was in the accident at auction prices" That's how they explained it to me.
Even though I had put a crap load of money into that car, all I had to prove its worth was pictures that were date stamped and a huge amount of receipts.  My first appraisal came in low, I asked for a second opinion....which I got. Only after I did my own homework.....Buy & Sell, Auto Trader, Local Auctions.
The second one came in a bit higher. In the end, I lost big time.
"I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce"
