EXWastegate Spring question.

so im going to be running an external wastegate, now the spring this gate comes with is rated for .6bar, 8-9psi. Will i only see 9psi when on the turbo before the gate opens?, or i read somewhere that the spring pressure is doubled. ex. 14psi spring = 28ish psi of intake pressure?
Do i need a 1bar spring to get my 15psi?

get a low basic spring pressure on the gate, that way you can control it with a manual boost controller. 

If you get one that is too high, thats as low as you can go.  And even the lowest one can be run way higher with a boost controller.
