hey are you guys planning another one of these sometime?

Turns out I can't come now, my football team has had a schedule change and now our normal sunday game is 2 saturday games.

I'd really like to do this, possibly with 2 cars but this saturday is out.

I was there only to discover my car is not tuned properly  :P

I was able to squeeze out 265 hp max @ 5500 RPM and 251 torque, which dropped off quickly in the upper RPMs.  This was around 27 psi and ~14 degrees timing.

My AFRs were real lean in the beginning of the run, I've since then modified my maps to so that it's set to 11 AFR in a lower load level than I originally had it.  Also tried smoothing out my ve in the upper RPMs.

Anothering thing I discovered the next day when I was tinkering around with the car the next day was that 3 of the 4 bolts which hold the turbo on the manifold were loose  :o  That's were my power went  >:(
Also tightened up my timing belt.

Speaking with Lowell I've decided to lower my boost down to 20 psi and try adding more timing.  I've made some changes and am hoping to head back to the dyno soon.

Later, Vlad.
all go, no show!

every month your attendance might be a little low

every 2 or 3 months and you'd have a packed session each time, especially during the summer.

I'd say do em whenever you can swing it Giovanni.  There are tons of members, but we can't all make it out at each one, but we can make it down in 2s and 3s kinda thing, with maybe one or 2 big ones over the summer.

Vlad, I betcha you pick up some power if you get about 5 more degrees of timing in there.  14 is a bit low, like if my car is knocking 10-15 counts kinda thing.  Definately noticable.

I'll make a trip over to the mainland for the next one.  I'll even re-assemble my car too. :)

Seriously it's great to have a DSM friendly AWD dyno.
