Help with Palm Pilot

I have a Palm IIIc and lost MMCD on it. I need it back on there, and have the Hotsync cable but it's a serial type cable which my computer doesn't support (too new). Can somebody get the program on my Palm for me? I have a serial-usb adapter but I can't get it to work.

Could you take a picture of the end of the hotsync cable that goes into the palm? I think I have a usb cable for a Palm Treo 600, but I don't know if it's the same or not. If it is, I'll mail it to you.

I can lend you my usb-serial adapter (Confirmed to work with windows 7 and vista) or install MMCD on your palm via my computer.
