A wee road trip, with pics! - 56k warning

Here's a small selection of the 1600 some odd pictures I took on my recent road trip. Left home on the 13th, went to Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Ottawa, Toronto, Niagra, Quebec City, St. John, Halifax, and Charlottetown among many other stops along the way.  8500 km one way in 16 days.  Considering the slower highways in places and that I figure about 95-100 hours drive-time.  Only province we didn't get to was Newfoundland, we didn't have enough time.  The way back was significantly shorter thanks to Air Canada.

If you ever go to Niagra Falls, especially as a couple, stay in the Sterling Inn.  We got a free upgrade to there because they just opened up.  Wood floors, plasma TV, king size bed, gigantic bathroom, free delivered breakfast.  It was pretty swanky.

Beautiful city by the way.  We only had time to see either Montreal or Quebec and I'm glad we decided on Quebec.  It was something else, just about 400 years old too.

Yea, it was.  The whole trip was pretty awesome.  It was late enough in the season that the leaves had all turned colours but the weather was still nice 75% of the time and we managed to catch a lot of tourist stuff before it shut down for the season.

sweet I went a few years ago and trust me you didn't miss much in NF the only cool thing there was seeing an iceberg, I love it back east everything has so much history. Going to TO for grey cup this year it'll be my first time back there since grey cup in Ottawa. Oh and I agree Quebec city is really cool, too bad you didn't have time for montreal though the plains of abraham are unreal.

INDEED  the East has so much history . so does montreal beautifull places to visite. and  just so you know the  plains abraham are in  quebec city .
