Hello Hello
My buddy and I just installed an Act 2600 in his 91 AWD. We got the clutch fork, pivot ball, extended slave rod and all the normal goodies. We have the braided line, just not installed yet.
The clutch engagement is quite close to the floor, but after driving it for 2 days he has become quite accustomed to how close it is. I would say about an inch maybe more off the floor and it begins engaging. The clutch also disengages/engages much differently than a stock one, it is almost more of an off/on. So long as the clutch is fully engaging we should be ok right? I know you can play with the pedal adjustment and all the jazz to move it but is there a sure fire way to know if you are engaging all the way?
I was thinking sit on a hill with a slight incline, and see how the car rolls in Neutral vs. in gear with the clutch in.
Chances are we are fine, just looking for a "yes you are ok" so we can both sleep at night, lol.
Thanks for the time guys.
*Note* We did not put a lock washer under the pivot ball*
