Tranny bolt sizes.
« on: May 10, 2005, 04:42:54 pm »
I doubt anyone knows this, but In the mix of doing my engine swap, I "misplaced" my bellhousing to block bolts. I'm pretty sure they're laying around somewhere in the shop....

So does someone know the sizes and lengths of those bolts. AWD if it matters.

OH and the AWD and FWD starters are different right, cause of the difference in flywheel diameters?

Thanks

Wayne

2 uppers should be 10x1.25x40
lower front 10x1.25x45
rear 8x1.25x40

Those are just off the top of my head and should at least get you going.

I've given you the thread pitches you could always check the lengths you need by measuring the thickness of the bell housing and the depth of the corresponding holes

If you're using other ones it's always a good idea to make sure you have an adequate shank on them.
