Importing cars via shipping?
« on: December 31, 2004, 02:37:18 pm »
long shot here....but has anyone had experience in shipping a car into Canada from the states? Ive looked into all the "paper work" aspects but Im looking for info on the actual shipping...Like what companies do it etc.  Im using this as a backup plan if I cant get time off work to go pick up the car. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

my dad shipped a car to Holland a couple of years back. Cost about $1500 or maybe a bit more.  Put it on the train here, they put it on a boat back east and the guy picked it up in Holland.

Maybe not related, but gives you some more thoughts anyway.
